Supporting the Educational Endeavors of Pennsylvania's Youth
The Philadelphia Bar Foundation has honored our firm for its generosity in donating over $1 million dollars in legal services to the less fortunate. In addition to this award for excellence in Pro Bono service, the firm has continued its commitment to community giving through a number of charitable organizations. In 2018, the firm consolidated its efforts with the formation of The Bull Foundation, Inc. established to champion the firm’s longstanding commitment to education equality through supporting the educational endeavors of Pennsylvania youths.
The foundation’s motto: Forward, represents the firm’s logo of the charging Bull and its relentless pursuit of justice and equality. The call to action for MFR and its partners for consciousness and good citizenship is a driving force in its work.

The Forward Scholarship Awarded to students of incarcerated parents, this scholarship assists high school and college students with academic promise in the attendance of programs and institutions that allow them to reach their fullest potential.

The Bull Scholarship As former Division I athletes the MFR founders endowed this scholarship awarded to students who demonstrated athletic and academic promise. It recognizes the role that athletics plays in developing well-rounded young people equipped to achieve in tomorrow’s competitive work and service environments.

The Gold Scholarship This scholarship provides elementary-aged children with developmental opportunities for summer experience programming that goes beyond their classroom environments to create exposure to broader possibilities for their future.
